The
Embassy performs a variety of consular
and notarial functions. These functions
include registration of births and
deaths, solemnization of marriage
(at least one of them should be Indian
national), registration of purchase
of ships and vessels, repatriation
of stranded individuals, notarial
functions like attestation and legalisation
of various kinds of documents. For

EXECUTION
OF POWER OF ATTORNEY OR AFFIDAVIT
The individual is required to come
personally to the Embassy and sign
the document in front of the Consular
Officer. Prior appointment could be
taken to avoid delays. The original
passport, residence permit and a photograph
must be produced at the time of execution
of any affidavit.
