The Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi is organizing “Know India Programmes” (KIP), which is a three-week orientation programme for diaspora youth, with a view to promote awareness on different facets of life in India and the progress made by the country in various fields e.g. economic, industrial, education, science & technology, communication & information Technology, culture. KIP provide a unique forum for students & young professionals of Indian origin to visit India, share their views, expectations & experiences and to develop closer bonds with the group of 18-30 years to strengthen engagement with young overseas Indians. KIP will be for duration of 25 days, of which participants will spend nearly 10 days in a select State as per following details:

KIP is the Ministry's flagship initiative for engagement with young overseas Indians. 
The guidelines of the programme are available at and application can be submitted online by the overseas Indians till 19th November, 2017 at  The applicants can indicate their preferences online for any KIPs and best effort would be made to accommodate them in the KIP of their first preference.
